Bob has more than twelve years of investment banking and venture capital experience, including public and private financings and M&A across many sectors.

Through Berstein Capital LLC, Bob provides emerging growth companies with M&A advisory as well as corporate and business development services.  In addition, Bob is a Managing Director at DreamTiger Equities, a merchant bank and advisory firm focused on emerging media and related technologies and services.

Prior, Bob was a Vice President at BMO Capital Markets investment banking, with a focus on Internet marketing services and for-profit education. Prior to BMO, Bob was a Vice President at Needham and Company focusing on technology-enabled services and healthcare. He was a Vice President at Advanta Partners LP, Advanta Corporation’s private equity affiliate focusing on business services. While at Advanta, Bob co-founded and served as Chairman of the New York Private Equity Network (NYPEN). Bob also worked in the investment banking divisions at Jefferies and Merrill Lynch.

Bob has an A.B. from Cornell University, where he graduated magna cum laude. He currently serves on the Cornell University Council.  Bob has held numerous alumni leadership positions for Cornell including Young Alumni National Chair for Cornell Annual Fund and Vice President of the Board for Cornell Association of Class Officers - an organization that encompasses over 1,600 alumni volunteers.
