Semi-Finalists Announced: February 8, 2013

25 ideas will be selected to continue in the competition. These semi-finalists will be asked to answer 5 additional, more in-depth questions about their innovative, entrepreneurial idea. Each semi-finalist will receive a mentor/coach who is an experienced entrepreneur, social entrepreneur, business or non-profit professional who will assist the team/individual in developing and refining their idea.

Semi-Finalist Submission Deadline: March 15, 2013

25 semi-finalists must submit their additional 5 questions to the competition administrators.

Finalists Announced: April 2, 2013

8 ideas will be selected as finalists. These teams/individuals will continue to work with their mentor/coach to perfect their idea for the final live competition on April 19th.

Competition Finals: April 19, 2013

Finalists present their "BIG Idea" to an audience of peers, faculty, entrepreneurs, social entrepreneurs, and distinguished guests during the annual Entreprenuership@Cornell Celebration. Each finalist will have 3 minutes to present their idea to the audience who will then choose 2013 BIG Idea Competition winners.
