Community Impact

Community Impact, a student organization at the Johnson School, works to strengthen the community through volunteering, understanding and learning from the relationships among the for-profit, non-profit and public sectors, and promoting socially responsible business.

 

Social Enterprise and Microfinance Club

Cornell's Social Enterprise & Microfinance Club's (SEAM) mission is to provide the Cornell community with opportunities to become aware of and get involved with Base of the Pyramid initiatives including microfinance, social entrepreneurship and sustainable global enterprise through speakers, events and special projects.

 

Social Business Consulting Group

A student organization committed to furthering the causes of a variety of socially oriented businesses around the world. Members are able to gain practical consulting experience while working to ameliorate social injustices.

 

Sustainable Global Enterprise Club, Cornell University's Net Impact Chapter

Net Impact is a global network of more than 5,000 emerging business leaders committed to using the power of business to create a better world. The Johnson School's Net Impact chapter connects students with National Net Impact's events and services and with the 75 other student and professional chapters worldwide. Tha Johnson School chapter works closely with the Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise in leading educational, business networking and internship opportunities in the areas of environmental, social and base of the pyramid sustainability.
